02.06.2022 I Rupert Graf Strachwitz and Eckhard Priller as authors of new Springer publication
Springer has released a collection of essays in honour of civil society studies pioneer Helmut K. Anheier.
In three volumes, the essays cover civil society theories, global challenges and trends, as well as country or region-specific case studies. Contributors, including our Director, Rupert Graf Strachwitz, and Institut member Eckhard Priller, have used Anheier’s theorisation of the origins of civil society and applied them to recent examples. The collection celebrates Anheier’s 65th birthday and retirement from the University of Heidelberg, whilst demonstrating the relevance of his life’s work in the context of the 21st century.
