New publication from Dr. Parag Khanna: “Move: The Forces Uprooting Us”

02.02.2022 | New publication from Dr. Parag Khanna.

Dr. Parag Khanna has just published his latest book, “Move: The Forces Uprooting Us,” which provides a fascinating insight into future migration trends. He argues that, throughout human history, there have been continuous waves of migration, as people flee war and persecution, or simply set out in search of a new life for themselves and their families. Migration is part and parcel of the human experience, with contemporary economic, social and environmental crises paving the way for future change. Dr Khanna sets out his predictions for the years to come, taking into account how the search for resources and new technologies could encourage a return to nomadic ways of life.

Dr. Khanna is the Founder and Managing Partner of FutureMap, a data and scenario based strategic advisory firm. His previous books include “The Future is Asian: Commerce, Conflict and Culture in the 21st Century” and a trilogy about the future world order. Esquire named him on its list of ’75 Most Influential People of the 21st Century’ and Dr Khanna is also a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.

Our founder Rupert Graf Strachwitz had the pleasure of giving the closing speech at Dr. Khanna’s book launch with the Royal Society of Arts Scotland (RSA) on 25 January 2022.
