Non-profit law reform
Germany’s federal government has partially reformed the country’s non-profit and donation law. But, in the federal Ministry of Finance, the socio-political dimension of this project was almost completely ignored. It is about appropriate framework conditions for civil society organisations in a modern civil society, about the conscious promotion of civic engagement, about the elimination of authoritarian state supervision. The Maecenata Institute offers analyses, opinions and arguments for real reform.
