Ilka Kleinod

Ilka Kleinod studied recent and contemporary history, library sciences and computer science at the Humboldt University in Berlin. During her studies, she gained work experience through internships and working as a student assistant in libraries at the Humboldt University and at the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. After graduating, she first worked as a librarian and then as a manager at the library at the Weierstraß Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochasticks. Before she became the Maecenata Foundation’s librarian in 2022, Kleinod was also the librarian at the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment.

  • Academic advice for library users
  • Supervision of research visits from German and overseas researchers
  • Creation of subject-specific bibliographies and compilation of specialist research
  • Support for thesis work
