Lisa Klisch is Head of Communications at the Maecenata Foundation. From 2015 to 2023, she worked in the field of scientific communication at the German Archaeological Institute, including as Acting Editorial Manager of the Orient Department, and was responsible for all publications and website management. Most recently, as Scientific Programme Coordinator, she supervised scientific events and training programmes and was involved in the public relations work of various projects. She holds a Master of Arts in Media Studies from the Technical University of Berlin and a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology from the Free University of Berlin.

She is involved in the nature conservation organisation Bergwaldprojekt e.V., is a member and networker of the SoLaWi Ökohof Waldgarten and is currently building a community garden together with Kulturschafft e.V.
