Dr Sascha Nicke is Programme Manager for the Tocqueville Forum at the Maecenata Foundation. In his work, he focusses on the framework conditions and in civil society engagement as well as in political participation for different groups of actors. In addition, he is responsible for developing outreach and advocacy strategies for the Maecenata Foundation and its projects. He completed his historical studies at the University of Potsdam with a doctorate on theoretical and historical concepts of identity.
Before joining the Maecenata Foundation, he worked for almost six years as a research fellow and coordinator for scientific monitoring at d|part, a think tank for political participation in Berlin.
