DONATING – SAFE AND EASY
With the Transnational Giving programme, the Maecenata Foundation supports a large number of charitable projects abroad through specific donations. Your donation through the Maecenata Foundation is tax deductible.
Here you can support your desired project, provided that we have already accepted it as a recipient of funds. You can find a selection of our funding projects here. Please contact us if you have any questions.

The online donation is the easiest way to support the projects we support.

Important: Please always state the desired recipient organisation in the purpose of the transfer! If you would like to receive a donation receipt, please also state your address.
For donations in foreign currencies GBP, CHF and USD, please contact us first. Due to the bank fees incurred for donations in foreign currencies, this method is only advisable if the donation is higher.
Donations are collected and disbursed to the recipient organization on a quarterly basis. We also provide the designated recipient organization with details about your donation (date the donation was received, donation amount, and the donor’s name and address), provided we have this information. Please also review our Privacy Policy for more information.
Earmarked donations, which you, as our donor, specify to be allocated to particular projects or purposes, are also exclusively used for those projects or purposes. If this is no longer possible—for example, because the designated organisation no longer exists or the specific project has already been fully financed or implemented—we reserve the right to use the relevant donations for as similar projects and purposes as possible. We point out our obligation to use received donations for charitable purposes in a timely manner, which means that after a lengthy period, a commitment to projects that have not yet been implemented or have only been partially carried out can no longer be maintained. In each individual case, we strive to allocate your donation to comparable projects and purposes. If you do not agree with this, we kindly ask you to include a note when transferring your donation.
FREE DONATION SHARE
To cover the expenditures and to further develop the network, a portion of the donation is retained as an administrative fee. Donation receipts are issued for the full amount of the donation.

In the case of payments outside the SEPA area, any bank charges will be deducted from the donation. (For transfers to countries outside the euro area, different fees apply depending on the recipient bank.)

Your donation through the Maecenata Foundation is tax deductible. If you provide us with your contact details, we will automatically issue donation receipt for you.
For donations up to € 300.00 (donations in 2020: up to € 200), a simple proof of donation is sufficient. Here you can download the simple donation declaration from the Maecenata Foundation. In order to save postage and administration costs, we ask you to make use of this option.
