Making Donations Abroad

With the help of Maecenata International e.V. (MINT), German donors can make tax efficient donations to foreign Organisations. MINT looks after the entire handling of donations.

• MINT checks the foreign beneficiary,
• MINT receives the donation,
• MINT issues the giver with a donation receipt,
• MINT forwards the donation to the foreign recipient,
• MINT oversees the use of the gift.

The organisation is registered with the German finance authorities and operates with few exceptions in all countries of the world.

 
Donation Transfer from Abroad

• MINT can also help with clearing donations destined for German organisations from abroad
  
• MINT checks the requirements in the donor’s country,
• MINT helps with the search for a partner organisation abroad, in order to make the transfer as tax effective as possible for the giver,
• MINT helps create all the neccessary documents.
